(UPDATE: POSITION FILLED) We’re hiring! Entry level: edible landscape/ permaculture designer
Have you completed a Permaculture course? Or have a landscape architecture degree?
That’s a good start. A degree isn’t necessary- we’ll also consider solid design experience, but you must have:
Excellent computer graphics abilities. Demonstrate plan presentation styles. Quick work in Adobe programs (ID, PS) and/ or Canva. Hand drawing skills a plus.
Knowledge and experience in base mapping- working with engineer’s scale, noting aspect and micro-climate, slope calculations
Some growing/ farming experience
Be able to identify native plants and some common landscape plants; edible plant knowledge a plus
Basic knowledge of site-specific hydrology
Landscape design or architecture training preferred
This is part-time or contract basis with potential for full time employment. Higher hourly consultant rate paid, commiserate with experience. Have a look around our website.
